About

Mitchell fell in love with stories some time between 1992 and 1995 (it was probably The Animals of Farthing Wood). He has always enjoyed movies, video games and novels but his awakening to the medium of film was circa 2006 with Pan's Labyrinth, subsequently recommending it to his English teachers with mixed, and in some cases, hilarious results.

Mitchell has been writing ever since he butchered The Three Little Pigs at the age of five and called it a masterpiece. He has published poetry and several serialised stories and is currently a member of the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild, helping edit their latest anthology, The Never Never Land. He is currently working on a comic book series and his first novel.

When he's not watching movies, he enjoys playing piano and reading old-school science fiction. He currently lives in rural New South Wales, and spends no small amount of time working on his survival plan for the apocalypse.
